    Posted: 19 May 2016 at 5:50pm
I am having trouble with the copy to clipboard function.

I have tried several methods including the built in copy to clipboard as well as zeroclipboard and jquery and while they the external methods will copy the form as loaded with the page they won't copy any of the changes made after the page has loaded.  the built in copy won't work at all.

Please help.

To use the 'Copy' function in the RTE's Toolbar you would need to highlight the area in the editor that you want to copy, then click the 'Copy' button in the Toolbar.

This will then Copy the highlighted area in the Editor to your computers clipboard.

Thank you for the reply.  I am looking to actually copy from the form element as that will copy the contents of the form element.  It seems that RTE takes control of the text area as events like onchange and onblur don't work either.

Text Areas in forms are not Rich Text Enabled, what the Rich Text Editor does is site on top overlaying the original form Text Area with an IFrame which can be Rich Text Enabled.
