    Posted: 06 October 2018 at 9:05am
Hello,
I have web wiz forum version 12.01, when I test my posts on Google Mobile Friendly Test I get Page is not mobile friendly.

Fix the following 2 issues

Content wider than screen

Clickable elements too close together

I have tried changing font and Image size but I get the same result.

Any help will be appreciated.

For test purposes I tried http://www.afghanistans.com/forum/extreme-discrepancies-usaidfunded-afghan-school_topic157.html

This will happen sometimes as it is impossible to control what user post.

I see there is a large image in one of the posts on the page you link to. This is quite likely causing the issue as the image would too large for a mobile phone screen.

Hello thanks for the reply,

You are correct that some large images will cause this but on this site it even happens on text only posts.

I just tried it on this post we are currently on and I get the same result as I mentioned above.

I have been testing it and found out if the Forums Message under the General Setting in the Control Panel is longer then one line, or the post it self is more then one line then we will get those error messages. I hope this helps.

For test purposes I created http://www.afghanistans.com/forum/123.asp in this page I made the following changes to pass the google test.

<table class="tableBorder" align="center" cellspacing="3" cellpadding="1" style="table-layout: fixed; width: 100%">
 <tbody><tr class="tableLedger">
  <td>

  </td>
 </tr>
<tr><td valign="middle" class="msgOddTableTop">
 <a name="744"></a>
   <img src="forum_images/bullet.png" alt="Direct Link To This Post" />

 </tr>

</tbody></table>

The changes I made are in red.

I think if it is possible to change the scripts to add these changes to the Mobile side of Web Wiz  Forum it will be even more awesome then it is now.

The width 100% needs to be in there otherwise you could add a long link or a long line of text with no spaces and it would not line wrap and instead make the page wider than can be viewed in a browser.

Hello again.
Since you agree, should I modify the script and make changes in forum_posts.

I was thinking about making these changes.

First: <table class="tableBorder" align="center" cellspacing="3" cellpadding="1" style="table-layout: fixed; width: 100%">

Second: <tr><td><% = strMessage %></tr></td> in two places.

Would that work?

You would have the problems that I highlighted in my previous reply.
