when a Hebrew username trys to login it says he doesn't have the permission or something although his username and password are currect..

 

can u check this out?

the Hebrew Usernames Works  Fine,,,

Look again in their Group permission .

i already fixed it.. i used "escape" on the cookies.....

או אם נכתוב בעברית, גם לי יש את הבעיה הזו מאז שהוספתי את השורה של הקודפייג'. אז מה עושים? מה זאת אומרת שהשתמשת באסקייפ בקוקיז?

Do Escape to the cookies while write them

and do Unescape the the cookies before you read them

The Problem is that the cookies is written in jibrish.

To Do Escape you need to do this:

str = escape(str)

to read the cookie

str = unescape(str)

I Hope You Know ASP, and you know where to add this function.

If I Have Time - I will publish the full hebrew version, I dont mean to the language file.

תודה על העזרה.

בינתיים קיבלתי עזרה מshkooz שכתב לי את זה:


בדף login_user.asp בשורה 131 עשיתי כך:

strUserCode = escape(rsCommon("User_code"))

וב common.asp בשורה 345 עשיתי כך:

strLoggedInUserCode = Trim(Mid(unescape(Request.Cookies("Forum")("UID")), 1, 44))

ואני יכול לומר לגביי שזה בהחלט פתר את הבעיה.

אגב, למה אתה אומר שהקוקיז נכתב בג'יבריש? בכל אופן, אחרי שקודדתי לעברית את כל הדפים שאפשר לקודד כל מה שנכנס לדטה-בייס, נכנס בעברית ולא בגיברישית.

צריך להוסיף עוד אסקייפ גם בדף

register.asp

שורה 838

ככה:

Response.Cookies("Forum")("UID") = escape(strUserCode)

ואז גם מי שנרשם או שמעדכן את הפרופיל נשאר מחובר ולא עף החוצה וצריך להתחבר שוב.
