Hi, I'm trying to load the forum and have similar issue that others have running http://localhost/forum/msSQL_server_setup.asp
 
I have modified the database connector
 
trSQLServerName = "172.16.1.5" 'Holds the name of the SQL Server (This is the name/location or IP address of the SQL
Server)
 strSQLDBUserName = "sa" 'Holds the user name (for SQL Server Authentication)
 strSQLDBPassword = "" 'Holds the password (for SQL Server Authentication)
 strSQLDBName = "mmapower-f"  'Holds the name of the database
 
I've used the same settings whne i run the asp and still no go

Make sure that the database is running in mixed mode so that it accepts TCP/IP connections from ASP pages.

If you changed SQL Server to run in mixed mode after the original install, then you need to reboot the server for the effects to take place.

If the SQL Server is running on the localhost machine use 'localhost' instead of the IP address.
