I am using a header and footer on my forum and it works OK with version 7. But I am just trying out version 8 and for some reason the forum lists are centered.
The test page is:http://www.d-zigns.me.uk/forums/default.asp
Thanks for the help

Looks fine in Firefox, but you may need to add some:-

 text-align:left;

To the CSS file for crap'E (IE)

Just had a look at it in Firefox and as you said it looks OK. I did alter the CSS but didn't make any difference. The only thing I did notice was if I dont use my header and footer, it looks OK in IE.
By the way. Love the new version 8. Wink

Try altering the way you do the centering in the header.asp file, if you CSS try using HTML or vise versa.

Also placing :-

text-align:left;

Or:-

align: left;

In the CSS file for the various table and table row parts may help with your alignment.

Thanks for the help. Got it sorted out. Our school is very impressed with version 8. We have a City Learning Center, which is part of the school and we do a lot of bookings from local schools. The advantage of version 8 is that we can now show the bookings on the calendar. Great work -boRg-.

As we are an educational establishement we may at some stage apply to have the WebWiz link removed. I will get back to you regarding this.
Thanks

Why does IE and Firefox treat the alignment differently?  I have had the same problem with my forum which seems to be all over the map in terms of what gets centered and what does not in IE vs Firefox.  I am using the latest version of WW forums.  Have you found what specific parameters need changed to keep this from happening?

It all depends upon what you may have changed or added along the way.
If you could maybe give a small breakdown of anything you have changed in any of the files including skin, footer, header etc and a link so we can have a look. then we maybe able to help more.
Handyman man?
