I wonder if is any good resource or sample regarding hit counter. What I want is beside the category, there is a hit counter.

Eg
ACOUSTICS & SILENCER [201]
ADHESIVE [166]

Meaning, when people click ACOUSTICS & SILENCER link, the 201 will become 202, just like the View column in this forum.

And of course hope that at the end all these hit counter can be used as 5 most popular category.

I believe that Bruce's hit counter tutorial can track multiple pages. Look for it in the ASP section.

Oh you mean a link-click counter? I'm not sure about that but i do know that MadDog had something like that on his site.
