I received a PNG file from someone. I'd like to change the color in the logo to burgundy. I opened it in Fireworks, but I could not figure out how to change the color because it was a bitmap. I'd like to change the color of the animals to a little darker brown. How do I do this?

Here's the logo:

The animals are flat colors, you can simply fill them with a new color, or if you want to do it more fancy, extract the animals (Extract Filter in PS CS) and the burn them.

Don't know about Fireworks, but in Photoshop or PaintShopPro, you'd copy the image into a new native format (.psd or.psp) picture as a layer and then use the tools to select by colour.

Unfortunately, I don't have Photoshop installed on my computer. I cannot change the colors. I talked to the person who made the logo. She doesn't know much about colors, but she said that she could change the colors if I would let her know the RGB mix of colors that my client would like to have. My client has said that she would like to have the logo in burgundy and the animals in dark brown/black. Can someone please give me the names of these colors (ex: #FFFFFF for white). Thanks!
