I want people to discuss news on my site. These news have nothing to do with the forum, but I want my users to discuss them with the forum tool anyway.

Is it possible to make a new Topic, and then "copy" this topic so it is also placed under my news on my site together with the post-editor? If this is possible, is it then also possible to not show the first post of the topic (so when I have created the topic, there will only be the post-editor visible under the news)?

I have seen this on other sites, but with a different forum though.

you could just create a forum called "News & Announcements"

and then extrect the first post of the topic onto say your home page, to list news

then when you click on "read" or "more" or what ever you could make your own "forum_posts.asp" page and get rid of the "side bar" (avatar and stuff)

or if you already have a news system ..... i have no ideas on what to do

sorry.. hope i helped

No, that's not what I want. I want a forum topic in the normal layout with the "post reply"-editor placed under my articles, news and stuff on my website.

Use the News application software on this site then, will suit your needs perfectly!

No, that's not an option either! I have my own "asp news application", which I tend to use. I'm not looking for a new application. I want to drag posts from my webwiz-forum under my own news application! I have seen this been done on many sites with other forums  - but is it possible with Webwiz?

Maybe if you included a link to your site, it would provide more insight into what you are seeking to do.

I cannot put a link to my site, because it's not nearly finnished. But I can put a link to something which illustrates what I'm talking about.

Actually, it's a lot like this:

This is the news article with the posts from a topic under it (there is a reply editor also if you're logged in): http://www.filmzonen.dk/items/news/2558/

And this is the topic used in the article, but viewed in the forum: http://www.filmzonen.dk/forum/thread/12013/

Notice that they create the topic in the forum and then drag all the posts from the topic under a news article except the first post!

How can I do this with Web Wiz Forums? Any help is appreaciated.

Another link of something simmilar: http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=6067
