How to correlate member to file upload directory

	So most of my upload directories for member file uploads are just numbered in the uploads directory on the server. A few are by user name, but most are not. How does one go about correlating a specific user with a specific file folder in the uploads? For example, if I was looking for user john_doe, how would I know Mr. Doe is folder 2045?

	Folders stopped using usernames many years ago. The reason was that if a username used special charters or used non western characters then windows could not create or read in the folder. Instead each user in the database is given a unique user ID which is a number. This is used for the folder. Each members upload folder does contain an XML file called 'folder_info.xml' which includes the members username. You can also get the members user ID by going to their forum profile, in the URL bar in your browser you would have 'member_profile.asp?PF=8290' the part '8290' will also be the same as their folder name in the uploads folder.
