Hi,

I'm using the WWF version 7.x and want to get the 8.x version without reinstalling all files as the first time. Is it possible? Thanks.

Version 8 is a complete re-write, so you would need to upgrade the database and replace all the ASP files with those from the new version.

Version 8 is much simpler to setup than version 7 so you shouldn't have to many difficulties.

I am using the access DB forums, and was wondering how I can transfer all of the information in my 7.x version to the 8.x version.  I uploaded the complete forums, but couldn't use my previous DB in place of the new one (guessing new DB setup).  I'd rather not lose all of my posts and users from 7.x, but understand if it is necessary.  Thanks.

 Edit:  Ok...how about the MS Access Version 7.x to 8.x Database Upgrade Tool v1...that might help me out.  If I have any trouble, I'll be back.
