Hi!

How do you remove/delete an account or user from the forum?

If you login as the forum admin and edit the users profile you will find a check box down the bottom to delete the user.

But it is recommended that you suspend the user instead otherwise any posts they have made will display as being posted by a Guest.

@-Borg-
Couldn't it be possible to just append a prefix to the deleted user?

Ex. User: Diego (user exists)
Deleted User: susp_Diego (or del_Diego, removed_Diegp etc) (deleted user)

This type of thing was looked into, but it would require a massive amount of data to be stored in the database, espically if the user has made allot of posts. This is why it is suggested that you just suspend the user.

This makes the user accounts un-usable, stops the user from signing up again under the same username (and email if email activation is enabled) and keeps all posts related to the user who posted them.
