i want to test" Web Wiz Forums" on my localhost, it was worked successful but when i send any "sticky topic" ,i can't upload any file by "WYSIWYG (RTE) Post Editor"
all directory permission to read and write
i set correctly virtual and Physical path
please help me

im not to sure but make sure you have the upload component on your server, that may cause the error if its not on the server.

check the set up within the admin area and check if you have any of those components.

i fixed this error by install aspsmartupload.dll but i have another problem see it:
  • Error Type:
    Server.MapPath(), ASP 0174 (0x80004005)
    An invalid '/' or '\' was found in the Path parameter for the MapPath method.
    /x/functions/functions_upload.asp, line 275

  • Browser Type:
    Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; Media Center PC 3.0; .NET CLR 1.0.3705)

    error '80020009'

    Exception occurred.

    check the upload path, some servers can be picky about the / and \ .. make sure the path also exists.
