I have the IE WYSIWYG editor turned OFF in my forum, so everyone is using the standard / basic editor.

IE users are reporting (and I find the same if I resort to IE) that the emoticons on the left of the post entry form don't work - you have to click "more" and click them from the pop-up window.

If I turn the wysiwyg on, they work fine. But, I don't want to!

Anyone else found the same?

If so, any solutions?

I've looked at your forum and you are right it doesn't seem to work on your forum, nor do any of the buttons.

The JavaScript function to enable this should be in the file message_form_js.asp. Make sure this file is uploaded to the server and that you don't have any JavaScript in the header or footer files that prevnt JavaScript from working on teh form.

It could be a corrupted file so delete the file message_form_js.asp and reupload it.

OK, thanks. I've re-uploaded and will check this. There's no javascript on the affected pages that isn't on all the other pages, some of which also have other javascript on. I'll take a look.
