i'm having a very queer problem with internet explorer... ever since i installed the last critical update patch from WU.com it hasn't been starting new instance links... i.e. one that pops up a new browser.. so i can't shift click to open in a new window... right click and say 'open in a new window' or even open links directly in outlook express... i need to click the internet explorer start button and move the link manually into there to open it. anybody have any clue what to do?

the worst part is that some websites don't work at all because of the way they change pages using javascript...

I got a similar problem at work, except it opens new instances but with no URL, just a blank white screen, pretty annoying.  Now I just use Netscape/Mozilla.  It's a good time for you to upgrade now.
