The guest user (Guests).

Is this user needed for guests to visit the forum or can I safely delete this account and just leave the Guest user group.

No no no!

I didn't say I'll delete the guests group.  I mean can I delete the USER "Guests"

That shows up in the in the member lists.

No you can not. That would screw up the forum. The "Guests" account is required. DO NOT DELETE!!
