Is it possible to have a folder inside a website without permission to execute scripts?

I want to allow some staff members to upload images to my site (for skins) but I don't feel confortable knowing they can upload scripts and execute them...

There is a 'read and execute' NTFS permission. Deny (or don't allow) this.

You can probably do that same in IIS...

Cheers,

There have been many, many posts made throughout the world...
This was one of them.

Thanks, yea, there is that option on the permissions but scripts still execute even with just read permission.... That's only for executables like exe's, etc.

On the site properties on IIS you can turn off execute permissions but it's site wide, you can't do it just for a folder... There must be another way to do this...

You would create a virtual directory for that, even if it is within the structure.. there you could disable it then.
