When users try to upload an image, this error keeps popping up:

Request object error 'ASP 0206 : 80004005'

Cannot call BinaryRead

/forum/functions/functions_upload.asp, line 368

Cannot call BinaryRead after using Request.Form collection.

I read the Soft Artisian Knowledge Base article concerning the error, but I am having a hard time deciphering the WWF code.

Any thoughts?

The Dundas FileUp component certainly works with Web Wiz Forums and 100's of people use it without issue.

The points raised in the page you link to are all covered in Web Wiz Forums.

There should be nothing on line 368 of the functions/functions_upload.asp file to course the error you are having, that part of the code isn't even for FileUp. This suggests that you have a corrupted or modified file. Try reuploading the original file again to the server.

Dundas is my first choice as an upload component.  I tried SA Fileup because I could not get Dundas to work.

I have reinstalled Dundas.  I have reloaded the functions/functions_upload.asp file.

I am still get the error message:

Dundas.Upload.2 error '80004005'

Failed to get the boundary.

/forum/functions/functions_upload.asp, line 241

It crashes at the .SavetoMemory() line.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

It's very odd that you get this error.

Try reuploading all the forum files again incase a corrupted file is coursing the issue, as this error normally occurs if the form enctype is not correctly set as enctype="multipart/form-data"

Bruce,

I have figured it out.

About a month ago my web site got hacked by a sql injection (my script at fault) and in my paranoia I started using a script which checks forms and query strings for future type attacks.

Well it calls a request.form before the upload which is causing the errors.

Thanks for taking the time to help.
