site http://www.baystateconsulting.com/forum - http://www.baystateconsulting.com/forum

I have made no changes to this site in a long time. All of a sudden the image path has change from /forum_images to /

Why did this change and how can I update it? Right now it's not finding any of the images.

You can change the 'Image Folder Name' from the 'Skins' page within the forum admin area.

If you have left your forum images in the default location then you should set the 'Image Folder Name' in the Skins page to that below;

forum_images/

I have had another look at your forum and it appears that your forum failed to load in the settings as you have set from the forum admin area in to the application variables on the server.

To fix the issue I added '?reload=1' to the URL to force the forum to reload the settings in to the application variables for the forum which means your forum now displays correctly.

The issue that causes this issue was fixed a few years back, so if you upgrade to the latest release it will prevent this issue from recurring again.

I figured out how to upgrade. I'm still having the same issue. I'm now upgraded to version 11.07 Unhappy

Hi Bruce,

Could you make another suggestion? Our forum has been down for days and we are currently running the latest version. Please help.

John

I have looked at your forum and if add 'forum.htm?reload=1' to the URL the settings are loaded in and your forum works. However, refreshing the page shows that the settings are lost again.

This seems to point to an issue with your website settings or the web server that you are using as your website seems unable to use Classic ASP Application variables.

I would start by looking at the application pool for the website. Check that it is set to use a single worker process.

Thanks. It was some problem with the site. Once they restarted the website the issue went away. We don't have control over that site so it took a while.
