	After upgrading the forum, in most topics it shows incorrect topic starter username.

	Sounds like the upgrade has not gone correctly the the topic table has not be correctly populated. Make sure you are not using a modified database and try the the upgrade tool again on your original 7.x database. Edited by -boRg- - 27 March 2006 at 4:23pm

	Isn't it possible to fix without runing upgrade tool again, coz my forum already works in life website.

	Sorry with the workload I have on I can't tell you that as I simply don't have the time to check things out on top of the amount of support emails and post coming in. This may also mean having to put back the release date as I didn't anticipate this amount of support questions.

	What you could do is look at the upgrade tool and pull out the part that populates the database, particularly the Last_post_ID, and Start_post_ID fields. If you find that it is just a few that have gone astray then it maybe worth waiting for the next version to come available as I have changed it so that when you click on the 'Topic Admin' button and hit submit it will also update the stats for the topic including the topic starter, last post, and no. of reply fields.
