Hi - I've been able to insert swf files into posts, but not FlashPaper swf files.

For example:
['FLASH WIDTH=300 HEIGHT=400]http://www.mydomain.com/filename.swf[/FLASH']
works fine.   (note: I added the apostrophes above so that it renders correctly in this post.)

Insert the link to a FlashPaper swf and it fails.  Firefox says transferring data... but doesn't actually display although when you place the same link in the Firefox address bar it displays OK.

Help :)

FlashPaper support has yet to be looked at. If the way you embed a FlashPapper into a web page is different to normal Flash files then it would not be currently supported.

Hello Bruce,

this is what I can't work out - I thought FlashPaper was the same.  This is from one of Adobe's pages:

"
But since FlashPaper SWF files are true SWF files, you can use them as you would any other SWF file. For example, you can import a FlashPaper-generated SWF file into your Macromedia Flash project and manipulate it just as you would any other SWF file.
"
So it looks as though it should.  Any thoughts on why it fails, or suggest a workaround?

This is something that would need to be looked into for future releases at the moment we do not have any FlashPaper documents to test this with, but hopefully it should be something which will be supported in future and as of yet there seems to be very little information on the web about FlasPaper and how it is included into web pages.
