Hi all,

Why couldn't I Edit members' Posts while I had logged in as an Admin? It always led me to the "insufficient_permission.asp" and displayed this line: "Sorry, only members with sufficient permission can access this page."

I didn't make any changes to the original codes.

Any advises will be appriciated, thanks

Btw: I have posted some posts for questioning but didn't see the Moderator allow it to be display in the forum, was I wrong something?CryCryCry

Thanks again

as this is happening i take it you are using V7.92

there was a security risk within V7.x and for a quick fix editing of posts has been disabled. this will be fixed in the future.

there is a hacker that uses the post_message.asp to edit peoples posts, so as a quick fix, its disabled. and a new secure method will be looked into
