You would need to look at the server variables.
What are you trying to do?

response.write "LIST ENTIRE HEADER<br/>"
response.write Request.ServerVariables("ALL_HTTP")
response.write "<br/>"
response.write "<br/>"

response.write "LIST INDIVIDUAL HEADER ITEMS<br/>"
dim strName
For Each strName In Request.ServerVariables
response.write "Server Variable " & strName &" = " & Request.ServerVariables(strName) &"<br/>"
Next

Sounds like he may be concerned about sessions that switch IPs due to the ISP. I don't think this is much of a problem anymore like it used to be years ago with dial-up. Just guessing though...

Actually, I think it still is a problem with some ISP's. AOL runs a session for almost every request - e.g. If I have a page with 10 images on it, I may see up to 11 aol sessions in the log. Because Of the way they handle their cache, sometimes I'll see different IP's for some of those sessions.

Not sure about Earthlink's "accelerator", but it also does funny things with managing/refreshing various caches located in different places
