I could type with it faster than with any smart phone. I got the 8 GB one... it costs a lot but I'm happy with it... the scroll feature is really nice, especially when i want to call any of my contacts. In my previous phone if someone isn't listed in my re-dial I would have to look him/her up in the address book, and it takes a minute to find them if i have a lot of contacts.
I'm also up to date with the weather here or any city in the world. I think it's worth the money.

iPhone is over rated... in a couple of weeks it will become another shelf gadget that you over paid for (and will continue to pay for because of phone contracts). Ouch  If i had a mountain of cash though, i would have one

Yea it looks and feels cool. But to be honest after playing with a colleagues for awhile I soon got bored, but would love to have one just so I don't have to carry my ipod and phone around at the same time.
I have heard good things about the LG Viewty also, anyone played with it ?

Try jailbreaking it, and add your own apps/tabs... that should make you less bored
