The old fashioned way of displaying tree type threads is not available.

too bad... old fashioned or not, its a more comfortable and fast way of viewing messages.
and it also allowes users to comment on specific thread replies and not just on the primary message.
 
you should include an option for that and let the admin choose between tree view and regular view. can't hurt.
