Am wondering about this matter ,
I added a user group & made it moderator for all forums,
But found that they have access to edit users profiles , wich something I dont want ..

Any one have an idea about how to make a modarator for all forum without makeing him able to edit users profiles ?

This is not a bug, more a feature you don't like!!

Many poeple like this feature as it allows modertors to do many of the day to day running of forums so they can reset users passwords if need be or suspend users that abuse the board. But modertors can't delete users, change the admin account, etc.

You would need to edit the files to change this feature if you don't like it.

got your point ,
I think its better to add the member as a moderator for every forum he'll be a moderator without being able to change accounts ,

But
I think it'll be lovely if there were a feature to make someone moderator for all forums " Just like it was in v.6 "
so you wont have to add him as maney as forums you have ,

what do  you think ?
