Jmail send email error

I have confirmed that Jmail is installed on my host and set the forums email config with that and my mail.whatever.net config.

Whenever I try to send a mass email to users, I get the following error:




jmail.SMTPMail error '8000ffff'




The message was undeliverable. All servers failed to receive the message




/forum/admin/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, line 228

I thought that i could use cdosys and leave the setting to localhost, but when I do that, the users dont get any emails for confirming the address.

Any suggestions?

do you have to have email authentation on the server to send emails via jmail.

the coding is correct so it shouldn't be that.

do all other features work?

also you maybe using code that messes the coding and creates an error .. have you tried sending a temp email to just you through it?

This Jmail error usually suggests that the SMTP server could not be connected to, check that the SMTP server details are correct.
