Just can’t get the forum uploaded

Please excuse my ignorance but I am so new to a pc!

I am attempting to design a website with a discussion forum.  I'm using dreamweaver mx 2004 and have got an index.html page done.  I've extracted the forum files and have tried to upload them but nothing happens - please can someone explain exactly where I upload them to?  I've been sitting here for 6 hrs and can't work it out...Cry
 
They seem to appear on the web page as files still and not actual pages if this makes sense to anyone??

what host are you using, make sure they have asp access, and is enabled.

also if using the access version you just need ot uplaod the folders that where un ziped, and upload them to a folder within the website root.

then if you go to http://mydomain.com/folder name

that of course if fictional, but idea is right.

you should then be able to login as administrator / letmein
