 Topic: keep getting logged out of admin section

Hey Borg,
I've noticed that after a few minutes of being in the admin section, i all of a sudden get the insufficient permissions error page and have to log in, losing what i was working on quite frequently. its not a timeout issue as i'm constantly working, but that will pop out, out of the blues each time i'm in the admin section. any idea what could be causing this?

Is you site correctly working with cookies?
You can tell this, if you have a long SID=xxxxx on the end of each URL in your address bar then cookies are not working for your site or browser.

Borg, I'm still getting the same problems. I've tried the site with both IE and Firefox and the results are the same. If I'm inactive for more than 20 seconds I get logged out. Also, when posting, after about the 3 or so post, I have to log in again. Its frustrating! lol
By the way, I don't have a long SID=xxxxxx at the end of my url, they just have the topic id and thats it.

Sounds like there are issues with the server.
Session variables are used to log into the admin area, if the server is unable to hold asp session you will have problems. This is identical to version 8.
Contact your web host.
