If you buy a removal key, all WWG-links and texts will be removed automaticly, including those placed in the bottom of the emails.

what happens if i upgrade the forum in the future? is the same key valid for all upgrades or do i keep having to buy new ones?

A removal key works for every version of version 7.xx. If there comes a version 8 in the future, you'll have to buy a new key for that version.

What if you had the old key for version 7 when it first came out? How do I use it?

You enter the link removal key into the admin area of the forum on the 'link removal page'
