It does sound like a space issue. How much space do you have on your SQL Server drives? I've also found this MS KB doc: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q307487 that may help - remember to backup the server before performing any of the instructions.
For you information I can access the first forum ("Críticas e Publicações do Cinema em Cena "), but not the second ("Filmes em Geral").

I've tried everything, I cleared the disk, I shrank the log, nothing has worked.

Do you think I should install the new version of the forum over the current one? (8.04)

Not sure if changing the version of the forum would help as this is a database issue.

Have you also ch4ecked the memory?

Check to see if you have allowed SQL Server enough memory, and check the server has enough memory installed.

Setting auto close on all your databases can help reduce the amount of memory used by SQL server by quite a large amount.

Problem solved. I have two machines in our servers and the forum db was in the second machine -- something that never occurred to me, considering that machine is used only as support to the main one.

It WAS a disc space problem.

Thank you all for your help. As usual you were great and paying the licence for the forum is one of the greater investments I've ever made. :)

Glad to here that you got the problem fixed.

Also working on increasing performance in version 10 for larger forums like your own, but does require SQL Server 2005 or higher to take advantage of the improved performance. If you are using SQL Server 2005 then it will be well worth the update as you would see a significant improvement in performance.
