Why is some mails generated by WWF in us-ascii format and other in text-html? Is it possible to change so that all mails generated will be in text-html format?

(e-mail notify is one of the text-html based mail while most other are us-ascii)

The reason is that the letters å, ä and ö in the swedish language got messed up in many e-mail clients and making the mails quite unreadeble if the charset is "us-ascii"

You could try a different email component.

Each call to send an email passes across if the email is sent in HTML or text.

If you chnage it to text you will also need to change the formatting of the text in th email to HTML or it will all be on the same line. eg. change any line returns to <br>

I'm using ServerObjects AspMail. I saw in there helpfiles that I could use ISO-8859-1 charset instead, but then I have to put this line somwhere:

Mailer.CharSet = 2

The functions to send the emails are all found in the file functions_send_mail.asp found in the functions directory, just edit this file.

It's all commented so you should find the part you need.
