mark all read from active topics page?

I noticed that on the active topics page, there is no "mark all posts read" link, like there is when you are viewing the default forum listings. I think it would be nice to have such a link in the Active Topics page. That way, I could shoot right to active topics, via a bookmark, read what interests me, and then mark everything read, without needing to go back to the main forum listing.

Oh, another thing that would be cool, is if the Active Topics page refreshed at a certain time interval.

Anyone ever try to implement either of these concepts? If so, I would be curious how you did it.
