Is there a way that new registrations can be queued into a "Pending" section so that they are not automatically just allowed to go buck wild posting junk?  That way, the admin can be the final say on whether or not members can start posting/reading.
 
This functionallity may already exist... I might be just too stupid to find it.  I'm torn between using this Forum design (with proper credit given) or using the ASP.NET free version for my new site.  This one is in the lead, but I really need this membership approval functionallity.

You could always set the group for new registrants to not have permissions to post in any of the forums, then manually move the members to a group or ladder system group that does have permission to post in forums.
