Hi All,

Can somebody tell me how to make an app that logs the most used places on my website, then how to display this on the homepage.

I want to make this so it is easier for users to get to where they want quicker

I want to use a simple access db

P.S. most of my website is flat except for forum

Thanks for your help =^)

hehe... you had to wait 2 1/2 months for your post to be answered...

anyway, all you have to do is put a small piece of code on the different parts of your site that you wish to log visits for and then pull the top 5 or ten or whatever you want on your homepage.

sorry about that... that post didn't make since... and i'm not going to edit it because i want to get my post count back up to date...

the code at the top of the page should increment a value in a database column... then all you have to do is search for the greatest values when you pull the top visited parts of your site for use on your homepage

But that would mean that the other pages on your site cannot be static. You will have to change the extension of the pages to *.asp first.
