    Posted: 09 May 2005 at 9:12am

I DLed you rte last week, and I am VERY impressed, but I was not too happy with all the files scattered around destroying my nice clean directory structure, (so I am a little OC Wink)

So I moved them to a folder called RTE, I got every thing to work, except when I hover over the tool bar I get a java error, object expected at this line

Response.Write(vbCrLf & "<script language=""JavaScript"">WebWizRTEtoolbar('" & strFormName & "');</script>")

And when I try to use any of the pop up nothing happens after clicking on the toolbar. If you want to see the page it is at http://www.sbp.co.za/demo/admin/Welcome.asp.

All help appreciated.

Thanx

If you have moved the javascript fields as well you probably need to update the links to those files.

I did spend many days trying to get the RTE to work in it's own folder, to make things neater, but found many problems with path issues.

Because the location of the RTE is within a folder when you place images, links, etc. into the editor it will see them as being from the RTE folder, however, when you submit the form, the links and images are messed up as they are still seen as being in the RTE folder.

There where also many, many, other issues with the RTE files being in their own RTE folder. Although it was possible to do, it was messy and would be hard for people to integrate as easily as it does at the moment.
