The WYSIWYG Editor used in the Web Wiz Forums is now supported by Mozilla Firebird (Not the standard Mozilla sae Monkey branch that has been supported for some time).

If you have Mozilla Firebird then please test the WYSIWYG Editor on this forum in this browser.

You can get the Mozilla Firebird browser from http://texturizer.net/firebird/ this is different to the standard Mozilla browser as it is written using XUL and is very fast. I'm starting to prefer this browser to IE, give it a go.

You can also download it from http://www.mozilla.org as well just under where you download the standard Mozilla browser.

Reading Mozillas raod map it looks like they will be swtching thier present standard Mozilla browser (sea monkey) to use the Mozilla Firebird browser instead.

Okay, I just downloaded the Firebird browser.  All the Rich Text formatting seems to work great!
  1. One thing I notice missing is the spell check button for the ieSpell,
  2. other than that it all seems in place and functioning fine and dandy.

That might just happen to be because ieSpell is for Internet Explorer only...

I'm going to take a look at Firebird since it sounds so good...

Yeah ... you know, shortly after posting this I went to bed, and a couple moments later I'm thinking, "Duh ... I can't believe I posted that!!"    Hahaha!!  I was trying to use a few of the different functions and looking for something to write and ... well ... hahaha!
