vb code is greate. i could debug that in a hart beat.

I dont think it works on windows xp, because i continue getting errors:

"DLL's not found, check for supported operating systems"

on this line,

Public objServer As SQLDMO.SQLServer2

I don't know, but I don't have a lot of time to play with it right now.

I'd guess you don't have the DMO component(s) installed.

You can probably get them from MS somewhere, or it would come with the client tools if you can get a copy (but then, why would you need this right!).

There have been many, many posts made throughout the world...
This was one of them.

I'm just going to find someone with a high speed connection and download the trial version of MS SQL Server 7.0 for free. The developer tools like, Enterprise Manager do not expire and you can use them forever, MS even grants upgrades to them most of the time. The only thing that expires is the developer server...

Thanks!

Really? Could you point me to the link at MS which says that?

Cheers,
Andrew

It's almost 3am here, and I'm going to get some sleep. Got work in the morning...

I'm going to try and use one of our webservers to download it tomorrow, I'll jump on sometime and post the link.
