Hello ppl,

I was wondering if anyone has a migration tool to transfer the forum (8.*) from MSSQL to MySQL.

If not, any suggestions on how to perform this without running into serious problems?

Just a note on this issue,

If you want to migrate the forum from MSSQL to MySQL, even though the tools exist to make such a database transfer you will have a really hard time to make the forum work. After spending long hours trying to achieve this I couldn't manage it.
If anyone outhere did perform such an operation it would be nice to share for future users that might want to do this.

I had to transfer the forum over to a new server so I thought to change to MySQL instead of MSSQL that i'm currently using but I settled for MSSQL again. Even transfering it from MSSQL to MSSQL was a pain.. but eventually it worked!
