My original forum was running on access (7.9 i think) but I had many problems with asp getting jammed up from countless connections I was told MySql would be better for my traffic and stop the crashes, after a mad few weeks of the site crashing I safely closed the forum and started on the migration from access to mysql
I have ran the 7 to 8 Access update, this went smooth

I then ran the access database through an 'access to my sql convertor' program (MyDbConverterPro) on the server and this seemed to bring across all the fields and data fine
We tried the 'new forum' and somehow got into the admin section but then got the following error on the screen and nothing else as yet
Error details:-
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-4.0.20a-nt]You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '(tblAuthor.DOB) = 14 ORDER BY tblAuthor.Author_ID DESC' at line

My server support has assisted but can only do so much ... Could I possibly get some help with getting my forum back running again, obviously there is something I have missed and i'm pulling my hair out, lol
(We pre-installed mysql 5 on the server btw)
I am prepared to pay an experienced web-wiz'r who is a pro with MySql & Windows Server to log on and assist with ironing out any errors as this is a busy forum I urgently need for my job :-(
