This issue means that for whatever reason the Windows Authenticated User, usersname is not being passed over to Web Wiz Forums.

Are you using the standard built in Windows login system to login into the directory?

ie. do you have a windows login pop-up when entering the directory the forum is within so you have to enter your windows login username and password?

If there is no username present and Windows Auth is enabled shouldn't the system default to the Guest account? It looks as if it's trying to insert a user.

I've just changed it in version 8.01 to have more error handling for the NT Authentication.

If NT Authentication is enabled then anonymous browsing shouldn't be possible.

The new error handling displays an error message to the user if NT Authentication has failed, instead of trying to insert a non existent user into the database.
