Now, i guess/hope i'm being a little bit dim, but....
 
I modified the existing admin group to be called Clan Founder, i now i want to add another group called Admin Assistants, but is there a way to make this new group have permission to login to the forum backend?  ie So that they see the little 'Admin' link to click Confused

There isn't.

I would also certainly recommend for security that you only have 1 admin account. The more you have the better the chance a hacker can get into your admin are and deface or delete your entire board!

The forums admin area only needs to be entered to setup forums and for configuration, so should not be entered very often.

If you want to give other users permission within the forum system for editing profiles, posts, deleting posts, etc. you should make them moderators. You can create as many moderators as you like.

It would be nice if moderators can approve new member requests and not just the super admin account.

Thats what i was after, but i think moderators can open visitor profiles and change some options Smile
