Sometimes you have to accept the fact that you cannot programmically control 100% of the behavior of the client's computer...

but i dunno, the point i was trying to make was that the user can indeed open the CSV, it just requires to save it then open it, takes him or her an extra 5 seconds of their time and its nothing you can do with your asp to fix their issue.....

personally i think you're wasting your time, but i am not writing your paycheck, so my opinion/advice no have no impact

Sorted.....Just upgraded user to IE6 and it works.

God knows what the problem with 5.5 was, although I suspect the usual culprits downloaded from dodgy sites (including Yahoo Messenger!!!)

Now I'm going to run Search n Destroy
