I'm running V7.92. I have one main forum with 10 sub forums. I need all forums to be password protected for access to registered users.
 
I can set a password for each sub forum but I would much rather set one that covers everything. Then users would only need to enter the password once to have access to all the forums.
 
Is this possible?

You maybe better off setting access to forums via the group permissions system

Yes but I can't set a password in user group permissions. I can only set one for each forum.

You can't set a password, but you can make it so that only certain groups can access forums.

For example if you only want registered users to be allowed entry to the any or all the forums you would disallow read access to the Guest group.

How do I create a sub forums??
I though this feature will available only in version 8!

sub forums will be in V8, it is not in a current release version (v7.92)

Sorry, that's just me using a phrase. I meant that I have the main forum name and then the usual forums that come under that name. I called then sub forums because it seemed the right expression.

You may add a code that if the user entered true password

so he automaticlly moved to a group that have access to all sub forums.
