	Our Forum has been set up for teachers only at our school as we have had problems in the past with students adding all sorts of rubbish. We have a secure password protected area on our site for teachers but is there a way of making the main forum page password protected and only accessible by teachers with a school username and password?

	turn off registrations from the main admin area. and then use the add account feature in the admin area for anyone you wish to add. make all forums either password protected or make it so you have to be a member to view them

	I tried that but the registration button is still there and active.

	if you open includes/navigation_bar.asp and in there you see the register file that creates the image, you can delete that then it wont show. also add a response.redirect on the registration rules page,.
