Hi all,
 
If I recall, if setting up a new forum with no users, there use to be a way to make it a non-encrypted password in the database, but I can't seem to find that anymore.
 
Can anyone give the details on how to do that on a new forum?

Passwords stored in the database are always encrypted, there isn't an option to disable it.
