I have an announcement thread on my forums; I want the topics not to move position when people post in them. I have it setup that I can only post threads, and registered users can only reply. I want to have the order of my posts in that section stay in order they originally posted. I tried "sticky" them all, but they still change order when someone posts a comment in them. Is their anyway to change this, and all sticky threads to not move position regardless if someone posts in them?

Basically, can you make “Sticky” threads not change position when they are posted in? There has to be some way to achieve this.

Thanks!

Since no one answered, I am guessing this isn't possible? I just want to make the sticky threads not move position when someone posts in them.

you need to change the query to do this. and tht is gonig to be hard to only do it on the pinned topics, unless you do 2 queryies one for pinned and 1 for others.

Thanks dj air for the response, but I have no idea what you are talking about. How do I edit, change or make queryies. I am sorry for sounding so noobish!
