Thanks for a good forum. Im having troubles with spammers that is creating new accounts and then posting messages including links and then deleting their own account.

It would be very nice to have a "kill all user posts"-button that removes ALL the posts from that user (IP address) + block it. Dead

And why not add an option:

If user deletes his user account then delete all posts as well. That way they cant hide themself by removing the user.

Hmmm, that might not be desirable for all users. Some legitimate people might delete their own account.

What we have is this:
I made a small mod to our forum (v9.66) to add a "Kill spammer" option to each post. Then when we spot an obvious spammer posting nonsense with lots of dodgy links, we click once to:

1. delete all users posts
2. reset stats for each thread and forum affected
3. change user 'notes' to say "spammer"
4. set user non-active and suspend them

It wasn't too hard, if you know your ASP. I did write a SQL stored procedure to make things a bit easier though. Nothing complicated though.

Some type of nuke spammer is on the 'todo' list for admins and moderators, with different selectable options, such as delete posts, suspend account, add admin notes, etc.

Also lots of anti-spam stuff already written for version 10, such as a spam filter, disabling signatures, images and links for certain groups.
