Poll problem, multiple votes allowed

I'm having a problem with poll votes. A poll is created to not allow multiple votes and it seems to work at first where is the cast vote buttom is gone and it says you have already voted but then after a while it seems to reset and it allows you to vote again. I've done some searches on here and it sounds like this works on cookies??? Where do these cookies get stored and do you know what i can try to do to fix this for happening? Thanks.

The system has been changed for version 8.

The simplest solution for the moment is hold on for a couple of months for version 8 to be released.

I'm hoping to have an Release Candidate version released in just a few weeks.

OK, thanks. But until then is there somewhere i can go to see who voted so i know if the same person voted multiple times. I have a photo contest going on and this can really change the results. Thanks.

If you have a look in the mods and add-ons forum, I believe that some created a mod that allowed voters ID to be stored in the database.
