i have two text boxes, in one i have populated it with the username from the database ,

 

now when the user selects a particular username then the page should get reloaded and then the other text box should display the company name automatically of that particular username....

i tried a lot of stuff but was not unfortunate.

please help!!!!

JavaScript can do that for you. I think you mean you have the Username in a combobox not textbox right? Just do a submit form for the onchange event then on postback do a request.form for the username field to populate the company field.
