Hi,

I'm planning on buying this lovely forum, to use on my website www.gearfreak.dk. The Users can review their Gear such as Guitar, Bass, Drums etc...
 
I currently have a seperate user database/login that control the above.

I was now wondering - if it where possible to use the existing Database to authenticate users to the WebWiz forum aswell.

I would like to hear your expirience and words about the above.

I'm looking forward to reading your replies.

it maybe possible but without knowing the existing database set up we cannot say,


your best bet is to look into syncing them together

Thanks for your reply.

Do you've any suggestions regarding sync 2 Database tables?
The only information I would like to sync is Username & Password.
 
I hope, that you'll be able to help me a little further on this one.

what you have to do is , set update SQL's within both to update each others tables, with a new password.

within the register.asp of the forum files and forgotten password file.

you also need to reflect this within the other application you have
